My family and I have returned to Australia from a great stay at HoJo's. We had a Premium Disney View room and experienced some truly outstanding service from all of the staff.The beds were amazing - so comfortable and the pillows, just dreamy. Hotel coffee is usually the lowlight of any trip but HoJo's have great coffee makers and it tastes awesome
We were kept well stocked thanks to houskeeping staff doing an amazing yet discreet job. Castaway Cove is one of the most amazing (I have used that word alot when describing HoJo's) hotel "pools" I have ever encountered. My kids LOVED LOVED LOVED it (I think they preferred it to Disneyland itself!!!
) We also visited the regular pool and everything was just beautiful. The grounds are kept so pretty and tidy. The gift shop is well stocked with everything you need from snacks and drinks to playing cards, bottle openers and all sorts of Disney merchandise.The laundry is easily accessable and easy to use. We put a load on and left it there, we returned, used the dryer and came back when it was finished. The internet in the room was easy to access and we never had an issue with slow service, it ran well every time.
HoJo's is so close to Disney! We (Hubby, myself, Master 9, Master 6 and Miss 3) walked to Disneyland and it took around 8 - 10 minutes to get to Disney's front gate
There are also heaps of places to choose from along the way if you are feeling hungry. Mimi's is located directly across the road and their food and service is great, we ate in and also ordered to go. We also ordered Tasty's Pizza and they delivered to the room promptly.The staff at HoJo's are lovely people. We missed a bus to the local Westfield and asked for a taxi to be arranged, the guy (I'm sorry I'm horrible with names) on reception offered to organise a "town car" instead. It cost the same as a cab would've but we got to arrange a pick up time and didn't have to wait around or find a taxi. When we were waiting for our shuttle back to the airport tit was running a few minutes late and me, being a worry wart asked if I could call them, again, the staff member (same one as "town car"
) checked his system and could see that the shuttle was already on it's way. I was really impressed.Well, I think that's long enough
