80 degrees is what the pool in my gym is heated to. That’s a bit chilly at first but after a few power laps you warm up and temperature seems pleasant for a pool workout.
However, when I’m with my young kids for basic “fun time” in the pool, a temperature a little warmer than that makes a huge difference. Kids, young ones in particular, loose body heat more quickly than most adults. A warmer pool greatly increases the amount of time we can all play together before we get too cold.
I know heating a pool to 82 or so would cost more, but it would make a huge difference to a lot of families. I for one would gladly pay a few bucks more for a warm pool “surcharge” if that was needed. Though I bet the word would get around and it would be great for business.
As you have two pools, maybe you could heat the more child themed pools a little more, and keep the other pool cooler for any gusts that wanted to do laps and such.
Just a thought! Can’t wait for my visit this Fall!
