Does Speedy need a Facelift?

Postby Mr.Sticky » Fri Jul 25, 2008 10:47 am

I think you may be victims of your own success! Castaway Cove looks SO AMAZING that poor little speedy is looking a little worn out by comparison!

This is very nitpicky and probably not going to make or break anyone’s HOJO visit, but as a big Speedy fan, I’d love to see him get a new paintjob so he can stand out proudly as well, and so he looks more like the photo of him on the HOJO’s home page.

Just to be clear, I absolutely would NOT like to see Speedy go away! Just given an evening off with a local artist and some fresh cans of paint.

Please ignore this post if that has already been done. I’m judging strictly by photo blogs, so if you did this very recently I could easily have missed it.

Hi Mr. Sticky!

You are definitely right! Poor Speedy is beginning to feel like a Castaway himself!

Speedy will be be getting a makeover mid-August of this year, and as soon as he does- I'll get some new pictures posted up! :D

And thank you for thinking of him! Speedy says 'Hi!'

Lorealle,
While I am glad to hear that Speedy is getting some much needed special attention, I was just curious as to how that will affect the whole water area. We will be there the middle of August for 5 days. Our kids would be so disappointed if the Pirate Cove, etc. is closed.

I can definitely understand your concern!

As far as I know, it shouldn't affect it at all! :D
