We could have used this type of room a few years ago when our kids were little. To accommodate the six of us, we would have two adjacent rooms, sometimes with a connecting door. This has worked fine for us with older children that could be left on their own for awhile. Having the use of two bathrooms is a great advantage of two rooms, and a time saver.

Having a DVD player or game system would not be something we would look for and probably not use. We do not spend a lot of time in the room. Having the Disney channel or some kids movies available on the TV would be fine. It might be different for little kids - to keep them occupied while the adults get ready to go to Disneyland or have a nap?

Room themes would be nice to add to the atmosphere of a vacation - away from home and the normal day to day routine. Disney themes seem obvious.

In general, we do appreciate the bright, clean rooms; comfortable beds; friendly, helpful staff; and the store in building 1. The only improvement I can think of right now, and it's not a big deal, would be for larger fridges to store pizza or Mimis leftovers.

Thanks for the opportunity to comment (and the mattercam).

As well as microwave, fridge and a TV in the kids bedroom as well as the living space, I'd quite like to see a double hot plate and basic crockery/cutlery. Perhaps a kettle tea bags, hot chocolate packages for the kids and a small packet of biscuits for arrival?

A hot plaste would probably really mess with their insurance rates and theyn they would have to put in a kitchen sink to give you a place to wash your pots & pans and be monitering the whereabouts of the posts pans dishes cutlery ect, when you check out

I will add though that I wish there were kettles in all rooms

The last 2 fridge/microwave hotels that we've stayed in had kettles and they were Sooooooper conveinent

I have no idea if my post bumps this thread or not but.....this Kids Suite is SO important to me!

One design flaw in many kids suites is they have the bathroom in the kids room....when so often parents are the ones who bathe & ready for bed AFTER the kids are asleep. It makes no sense to have to tiptoe around sleeping children. Having the bathroom (unless there's 2) in the parents/main area is crucial. Hotel plumbing can wake some light sleepers after all. As a obvious side note - a door between the room is NECESSARY. I have ignored many a fine deal only bc those bunkbeds were next to the king bed - they're not married to dad....they shouldn't have to listen to him snore!! LOL

I'm a minimalist, I love having cable & hot cocoa - all the fun stuff. But more than anything design is what I'll notice most. HOW MUCH were they thinking of convenience?????
