In-House Reservations

Postby kel77 » Wed Jun 03, 2009 4:11 pm

Hi HoJo :D

I just wanted to say that I am again impressed by your in-house reservations team :)

Due to our airline cancelling a flight we are staying at the HoJo for 5 nights instead of 4 (Yay!) As we booked through a travel agent we only had a standard room.

We called and arranged for the upgrade and that was handled very easily and I was very impressed. This morning (Aussie time) I again had to call in-house reservations to make sure our extra night was upgraded also and I spoke to Jennifer who was very friendly and helpful. She was able to help me with my enquiry easily and she was very knowledgable. :)

She was also very understanding of my excitement

Thanks HoJo, I can't wait to be there in person

It is 73 days, 3 hours, 8 minutes and 43 seconds until Sunday, 16 August 2009 at 1:20:00 PM (Brisbane time) That's when we arrive in LA

Kel,

I also spoke to Jennifer but through Skype (which I was impressed because I didn't have to make an international phone call). The poor girl must have thought I was crazy to be so excited but she was just as excited for us and was absolutely brilliant! Even though I had read all the forums and knew the right things to ask for (ie: rooms on the 7th floor and noise levels), I had completely forgotten due to my excitement, but she asked all of those questions, explaining all of my options.

It makes you wonder how HoJo's gets such enthusiastic staff who obviously love their jobs.

Enjoy your trip! Ours starts in 5 months and we won't get to Hojo's until January but we're also counting down.

Hi Gidget,

I haven't worked out that skype thingy yet :?

Isn't it funny how you are so composed and orgainsed with questions but the minute you make that call the excitement sets in and you just become all muddled? It's great when the staff are as understanding as the HoJo staff :D They must be used to dealing with excited guests and it's great that they haven't become annoyed by it all, they are as enthusiastic as us :D

In another post I told Lorealle that I would pack an extra packet of Tim Tams as a gift to her for all of her help :D
