Praise for HoJo!

Postby DisneyMommy » Mon Jul 13, 2009 10:46 am

My family and I will be coming to the Anaheim/Disneyland Resort area in about a year, the summer of 2010, but we knew we needed to save a bit before we started booking things so I set on a mission to get approx. hotel price quotes (obviously they wouldn't be EXACT, but we were interested in a ball park figure). Boy oh boy was I in for a surprise! NO ONE could give me a per-night estimate. NO ONE could tell me anything about my stay so far in advance. NO ONE even listed prices on their website without booking dates! That was, of course, until I found HoJo!

Initially I had skipped over this hotel due to my dellusions that HoJo would be too far from the park. However, upon further research (like the wonderful webcam!) I saw that HoJo was in the perfect spot: far enough away that my children (3, 5 and 15) will be able to forget about Disneyland (as much as possible, I mean, it IS Disneyland!) while we're out of the park and hopefully settle down a bit during our down-time in the hotel. At the same time close enough that we can see the fireworks, a big plus!

It is not just the location that has convinced me to stay at HoJo. It's the dedication of the staff, their amazing customer service skills, their friendly demeanor, and their child-like understanding of our inner children. It's the wonderful way that this hotel has strived to be above and beyond. It is this website and how you guys have thought of EVERYTHING. Pictures, videos, webcams, forums, per-night rates, descriptions, Castaway Cove, famerooms and giftshops...the list goes on and on.

You have sincerely helped in making this trip be as magical for those in my party (all of whom have never been to Disneyland, including the adults!) as it was for me when I came for my first visit as a child. You guys are WONDERFUL! Keep up the good work.

*Side note: Lorealle, I have sent a copy of this letter to your General Manager, Jonathon, as well, in case he doesn't get to hear feedback as often as you do!
