Improve laundry room in building 1?

Postby mareed » Thu Apr 03, 2008 6:55 pm

We've stayed at HoJo many times and usually in building 1. We stay for at least a week and I always do laundry mid-trip. The laundry room in the basement of building 1 seems as if it's in a dungeon... I'm not sure of a specific suggestion, but if there's anything that could be done to make that nicer, I would certainly appreciate it! :) I've always felt very safe at HoJo, but I have to admit that walking down that long hallway to the isolated laundry room was a bit creepy.

Note that it has been over a year since we were there, so it's possible that improvements have already been made (I think it was Nov. 06 for our last trip).

Ha!

Well I think I know what you mean, but we have actually done some renovations downstairs very recently, and have even replaced the washers and dryers in the Building One Laundry Room as well! :D

HA! I thought the same thing while we were there so I insisted one of my boys come with me when I went to change the laundry over and pick it up, lol. I will admit though that I liked the machines and found the expense to do the laundry there very reasonable. :D

I thought the laundry room area is a bit creepy, too. I didn't want to go down there alone. It would be a huge improvement to relocate that area. But then again, it is a good reason to send the men down to do laundry.
