i'm coming back!

Wow i can't believe its been almost 2 years since i last embarked on my HUGE trip across america's south. And it started right at the HoJo as my first stop.
I never got the chance to actually come on here and say HOW amazing the staff were - from booking taxi's and town cars, to answering my dumb aussie questions to not laughing when i rung cause i had no idea on how to turn the shower on!
every staff member i saw - from the front desk to the cleaning staff had a smile on their face and was polite. which can i say helped calm my nerves completely here i was starting 6 weeks of traveling by myself on what was my biggest adventure..... until now.
thats right - i'm coming back (with the knowledge of how to use your showers - i couldnt stop laughing for ages with that me moment) i havent booked yet - but i'm planning to finish my next trip at the HoJo. It just seems right. not only that but i'll be bringing friends!
anyone who i know travels to anaheim i say stay at the HoJo, and was excited for my friends who came and stayed here last year with my dance school - i was really upset i couldnt enjoy it with them!
If anyone is on this board just sussing out if they should come stay here or not... i say STAY HERE - you want service and at a great price - do it!!
I can't wait to be able to walk up to the front desk in august and say..... i'm back i cant wait!

My travel agent has booked the accomodation so its all set!

We arrive on the 23rd August and check out on the 30th August.

Really Excited.

Hopefully we arrive in once piece - as we have hired a car to drive from LA to Anaheim and we'll have the car for a few days. Must remember the steering wheel is on the opposite side of the car. We should be fine - thats what GPS is for.

next step when we arrive go to the nearest Walmart - i wish we had walmart in australia! i miss it!

Can't wait to see you guys! Bring some empty bags to take home all of your shopping. Your dollar is strong so the world of shopping is wide open to you!

Don't forget to ask the Front Desk team about the new shuttle over to Citadel Outlets. It's an outlet mall about 20 minutes from the hotel and there is an shuttle several times a day over and back for a fee. Great shops and the largest one close to the hotel.

Thats good to know, i know we were going to look at stopping at the Citadel on our way to Anaheim as well as do a tour via the Cake Mama's shop (cakes YUM!)
but knowing i can always go back once we've returned the car is good!
An extra bag is always needed, that and packing light when i leave australia.
is there a post office near by where i can possibly post some things home?

Hiya Karlie! Yes, no worries, there is a post office about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The front office staff can assist with getting you a box and sending you in the right direction. Easy peasy.

OH, there is also a semi new outlet mall nearer the hotel which you can reach by using the Anaheim Resort Transit (ART). They are little busses that take people to Disneyland but also to a few area points of interest - one of which is the OUTLETS AT ORANGE. http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?id=1236.
