Hi,

My Mum and I are heading over to the HoJo in 24 days and we were just enquiring a few things.

Ok first things first, tipping, We are Australian, and it isn't necessary to tip, unless the service is extravagant, so we were wondering how much to tip for, restraunts, taxis, buses etc.
-How long are the ethernet cables that you provide? We want to try and lay in bed, but if we can't, that's fine.
-Is it possible to catch a bus to Orange, I really want to go to The Block At Orange, and then try and get to Westfield.
-We requested a room, over-looking the Garden Pool, but far from the freeway is there anyway we could find out what room we did receive?
-What time is check-in?
-Do you have power-point converters or will we bring our own?
-Are shopping centres -specifically The Block At Orange- open on Sundays?
-Is there an Apple Retail Store close by?
-Does the gift shop sell bread and sandwich fillings, like butter, peanut butter and jam/jelly?

I think in Austraila you are very lucky for 2 reasons, you have not got caught up in this ridiculous over tipping for every darn thing trend that occurs here in North America ( oooops did that sound bitter )

And and this is the big one YOU DONT HAVE ONCE CENT COINS. They keep talking about doing that in here in Canada but alot of people dont understand how simple the rounding is and of course everyone is scared of change ( no pun intended)

Great Questions!

1. The Ethernet cables are fairly short, actually! There are a few longer ones available upon request at the Front Desk though, so you can definitely ask to see fi there are any extra ones floating around for you to use while you're here!

2. The ART Shuttles will get you to The Block, and you can get a schedule and tickets at our Front Desk!

3. Did you book directly with the hotel, or did you book through a Touring Company/Travel Agency? If you booked directly with the hotel, we can tell you exactly which type of room you've booked! If you've booked through a Touring Company/Travel Agency, then we can note the requests on your reservation for you, but we won't know exactly where you've been placed on our property* until your time of check-in

5. We do not have power converters or adapters, so you will need to bring your own.

7. It looks like the closest Apple Store is located at South Coast Plaza [http://www.apple.com/retail/southcoastplaza/] - and since its in Costa Mesa, ART will not be able to get you there, so you'll probably need to hire a taxi or rent a car.

8. Yes! Our Gift Shop does sell all of those things!
