Security at the HoJo

Postby HoJo Helper » Mon Jun 08, 2009 10:51 am

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew about our new electrical keycard system!

This system automatically locks the main entry doors to all six of our buildings from 10p-6a every single day. That means that in order to even gain entrance to those buildings, you must be a registered guest with an active/valid Room Key.

Additionally, we have added an entry/exit gate to our parking lot that requires your Room Key to gain entrance. This also is active from 10p-6a, daily.

Your family's safety is a priority for us!

So after 10pm you need a room key to get in the grounds awsome
The happy haunts have received your sympathetic vibrations and are
beginning to materialize.

Hi Lorealle,
I love these forums & want to compliment you firstly on the level of information that can be found here. Very helpful and for international visitors!
M question re security is about lighting etc. I am a single parent, bringing my son on a much longed for holiday of a lifetime...(I saved for 2 years to get there and can't believe there is only 8 days left until we arrive)
I expect that most evenings my son will pass out from sheer exhaustion so there may be instances where I want to go to the laundry or to the smokers area when he is asleep. There is no way that anybody could gain entry to my room without a key?
Also how well lit are the grounds? I don't want to feel scared to go walking to the laundry in the dark...or get lost trying to find my way back to my room!
Many thanks,
Nicki

Hi again Nicki!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so glad that you're enjoying the Boards! :]

First, I have to say that we never recommend leaving a child unattended in the room- but no, no one would be able to enter your room without a key.

Our grounds are pretty well lit! There are little lights to light the path, and the property itself is very safe! :]

Hope this helps!
