Room choice?

Postby KimJohnson » Sat Jan 24, 2009 5:11 pm

Hi There,. We are planning a Trip out in April and I have a bunch of questions to make sure I reserve the best room for our family of 4 ( 2 small kids and 2 adults)

We were thinking of reserving a Premium 2 queen room with a Disney View. I just wanted to know if 1. the view is really good or you can just see Disney in a distance? Is there anything else Interesting to look at? 2. Are the Fireworks on each night in April?

I ask because I really like the idea of the RESORT feel and read another post about a Garden Pool view. 3. Now would this be a better View ( if the fireworks are not each night)? 4. Also is there any difference ( beside the pillow top mattress) with the deluxe or premium 2 queens?

We do not want to be near the noise of the busy highway and would really prefer not to have a view of that road. Also we don’t want a huge walk for the kids if the room is very far away from our walk to Disney or the Pirate Cove. 5. Do all your balconies come with chairs? ( I did not see any chairs in the pics)

What room do you suggest for our needs? Thanks in advance for answering my ton of questions!! It will really help us make our decision.

I will try to answer some of your questions. 5 of us went in December ages 12,12, and 15 plus 2 adults. Wife and I shared 1 queen bed while 15yr old sept on cot and 2 12 yr olds seplt on other queen bed.

Disney from a distance. View depends on what room you get and if the trees are down or not. We were on the 6th floor and from our view we saw the Pirates cove but limited view of Disney due to trees. When we go back I would still get this room. We did see the fireworks from our room but some were obscured due to trees.I ask because I really like the idea of the RESORT feel and read another post about a Garden Pool view. 3. Can't help you on this question regarding garden pool view, but the pillow top beds are amazing we slept really well in these beds along with the down pillows. Best mattress we have ever had for a hotel.

6th floor 1603 heard no freeway noise. No chairs but there is a small table with 2 chairs inside so i moved one out when i wanted to sit out there. To guarantee a NQQ1 room for me I had to pay 15.00 extra per night , in the end i thought that this was worth it.

Overall the room and staff were great. We never had any issues with this hotel or it's accomedations. Staff inside the main street store were excellent. When we go again we are definatley staying at the HoJo's. (On a extra it is also located close to Mimi's Rest which is awesome.)
