Cashing traveller's cheques

Postby firefox2 » Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:03 am

OK, so my bank is being really lame, I won't go into details, but they are making it difficult for me to access my account while being in the U.S. So, I have to bring some traveller's cheques with me (I have a visa as well, and am bringing some cash also), so as to not put all my eggs in one basket. So, how difficult is it to cash traveller's cheques in Disneyland/Hojo area? I know downtown Disney has a place that will cash them, but do most hotels/retaurants/stores also accept them?

YES! Disneyland, as well as stores/restaurants in the area all accept Traveler's Cheques, as long as they are signed and you provide proper ID.... We have used them with no problems at all in the past - Hope that helps :P

Thanks, and yes that helps. It has been awhile since I have used them, and was hoping to avoid them this trip, but no such luck. Oh well, as long as I can cash them :)
