Finally taking our HOJO Vacation!

A year and a half after winning our HOJO/Disneyland trip (The "What Do You Love About the Anaheim Resort" contest in April 2009), my family and I are finally going to be heading out to Anaheim October 20-24th!

Right after winning the contest, we found out my wife was pregnant, which ruled out a trip for the rest of the year, then with the newborn and with me being unemployed (or only partially-employed) and our condo going into foreclosure, it's been a rough 2010 to say the least. But now I got a full-time, salaried job I LOVE, we moved to Arizona (now we're only 6 hrs away from DL instead of 10!!) and the baby is old enough to enjoy the sounds and colors of the parks!

This trip will be a celebration of the triumph of getting through rough times! It'll be our first time staying at the HOJO (so expect me to haunt these boards a lot the next few weeks) and our first time going at HalloweenTime to Disneyland.

I'll be arriving in Anaheim a month after in November for a week! Hope your trip goes well sounds like you guys deserve it! the wait seems like forever doesn't it? 65 days to go should be great!

Congratulations on the new addition to your family, and the new job and the relocation! It sounds you all are doing very well, and we're really excited that you're going to be able to come and celebrate and stay with us for a few days!
