Wheelchair Rental (also ECV)

Postby jackyb » Thu May 15, 2008 8:14 am

Wanted to let folks know about wheelchair and ECV rentals. Last December I rented a wheelchair for my mom. I found a company through some folks on Micechat and thought I would try them out. They were terrific. The company is Mobility Source. They are based out of San Diego, but deliver to the Anahiem Resort Area for free. They asked the height and weight of my mom so they could provide the right size chair and it was. It was in great condition. They asked when we would arrive at the hotel and made sure it was there waiting for us at check-in. HOJO's will put it in the secure luggage room until arrival. Although we did not stay at HOJOs our entire trip, the company picked up the wheelchair at the motel we were at on our last night. It is a great company to use. The cost of the rental was around $59.00 plus tax for 8 days.

Their website is: http://www.mobility-source.com
Their email is: info@mobility-source.com
Their phone number is: 619-234-9505

We use Deckert's for ECV rentals. Free delivery and they are very nice. We stayed in Dec for 13 days and it was $190 for the whole trip. Avoid Alan's.
