Gym Facilities

I get asked a lot of questions about work-out and gym facilities [and BRAVO! to you folks who stick to your workout routines when you're on vacation- because I know I certainly don't! ], and although we do not have a gym on property, there is a 24 Hour Fitness down the street from us- so if you have a membership that allows you to use other 24 Hour Fitness facilities, that's definitely an option for you.

My daughter is a high performance athlete and would like to get in at least 2 sessions of strength training, running/ swimming while we are there for 8 days (Coach insists). What are her options?

I'm afraid not! Our one pool, the Garden Pool, is a recreational, family friendly pool. There's a video here that will give you an idea about our pool and Castaway Cove.

I don't know of any community fitness centers- just the 24-Hour Fitness that I posted about earlier. The best thing I can recommend is trying to contact them to find out what kind of options they'd have available to her.

Your daughter must be very dedicated [and you too!] to keep up with those kinds of demands on vacation! Good for her!

How long of a walk or run would it be to get from HoJo to the 24 hr Fitness location on Katella?

I plugged our address and their address into Google Maps and they said it's one mile, walking, away. They estimated that it would take 19 minutes.
