Adding member numbers to booking and discounts

Postby julierowe8 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 3:20 am

Hi, I have just booked a 27 night stay starting the 30 May, loved it so much last time coming back.
I booked via a travel agent, but want to add my Wyndham member number.
Also my family from NZ are going to, can they use my Wyndham number as well, and how can I confirm we will have a room side by side.
Also I plan to get a 12 month members Disney Pass, and was interested to see if I can get any discounts even though I have already booked and paid.

Please advise, thanks - looking forward so much to my trip

Julie

Wow Julierowe8, 27 nights? :o That's great. You'll practically be living at the HoJo! :D It really is a good place to make your "home base" as you explore all there is to do around Southern California and beyond. Can't wait to have you.

We located your bookings (based on your first name and arrival date) and we will find you a nice, cozy spot for your long stay. We'll place the two rooms next to each other.

Your travel agent booked your room through a third-party, which means we are unable to touch the rate, as this is all pre-negotiated through annual contracts. BUT, your annual Disneyland pass does get you 10% off (once daily) at our Main Street Market on anything exempt beer and wine. Just show your pass at the register.

Unfortunately, bookings through a third-paty are also not eligible for Wyndham rewards. The rewards program has to be for direct bookings. That said, you are saving A LOT by booking through that third party. You could cancel and re-book directly and then apply the Wyndham rewards points to any room that you pay for. You may want to contact your travel agent and ask what the difference would be in booking directly with the hotel versus what you already have. The agent can still handle your booking. Then you can see if the Wyndham points would be worth the switch or not.

Let us know how you fare and if you have questions on the above. ;)

8-) p.s. It looks like we have three ressies in our system, two for 28 nights each, under Julie, then one other under Gay & Julie for 13 nights. All commencing on May 30. Just wanted to let you know what we see on this end. :)
