Castaway Cove closed for private parties?

There's a thread over at the DisBoards from an upset guest who apparently recieved a note slid under their door the night before their free day to play at Castaway Cove that the cove was closed for a private party. Needless to say, she was pretty upset, since no one had mentioned it after reserving, or even at check in!

Are there any upcoming dates that the cove or pool will be closed on, so that we can schedule accordingly? I know a lot of people don't check out all the different boards, and so it's easy for non-posters of various sites to be unaware of fun functions, etc..

We did close Castaway Cove on Saturday, May 1st for the MiceChat Gumball Rally. Usually we try to give as much notice as possible, and our Management Team knew about the closure for at least a few weeks prior to the event, so I'm not sure why they waited until the day before the event to let our guests know. I will definitely follow up with our Front Desk Team to make sure that we are always posting these closures well in advance! Thank you so much for the heads up!

We don't have any future closures of Castaway Cove planned at the moment- but if that changes, I will make sure to post that information here and on Facebook. :]
