Questions about KidSuite Room Details

We stayed in the KidSuite at the end of Dec and have it booked again in March and have a few questions. I wondered about these things while we were there, but we'll be adding Grandma to the kids side on the upcoming trip, so they'll be more important to us then!

1.) Can we get an alarm clock for the bunk bed side of the suite? There was one by the king bed, but there wasn't one for the kids side of the suite.
2.) How are the A/C controls set up between the 2 rooms? It seemed like the king bed side was the main control and that the kids side was automatically set to whatever we set the king side to. We tried to set the kids side to be warmer (because the kids are always cold, it seems), but even though it let us increase the temperature on the thermostat, the room always stayed the same temperature as the king side. (We have a travel alarm clock with a temp display so we could easily check.) We noticed when we turned the thermostats on, that they displayed the number "2", and I wondered if this was some sort of a type of setting indicating that the king side was the main control. If so, are there different settings that we could request so that we could control the 2 sides of the room separately and set them to different temps?
3.) Do you have any fans available on request?
4.) Do you have any other type of blanket available? In particular, a cotton blanket perhaps? I know that the white duvet blankets are new and many people like them, but they are just too hot for me to sleep under. We brought our own cotton blanket and it worked OK and the maids just used it on our bed each day, but it would be nice not to have to bring it!

1. We don't have extra alarm clocks for the Kids Side at the moment, and I don't think that we are planning on adding them- but I will definitely pass that on as a suggestion to our General Manager to see what he thinks of it! :]
2. The A/C control is set up independently in each of the rooms, so I'm not sure why the rooms were at the same temperature if you were setting them differently. Of course, there will always be air flow between the two rooms since they are connected- but you should be able to control them separately.
3. Unfortunately, we do not have any other kinds of space heaters/fans in the rooms apart from the Main A/C unit.
4. We DO have blankets though! You can request extra blankets and pillows from the Front Desk! :]

Thanks for the info, Lorealle! The kids room was definitely not being controlled separately for the A/C. We set it up to about 74 and it stayed at 69 which was what we had the king side set to. And we closed the door at night and it stayed arouand 69. We managed OK. If it's an issue on a future trip, we'll call the front desk about it while we're there. Actually, I'm not sure that we could adjust the temperature in either room... It just so happenned that we wanted the king side at 69 as we know that's where we're most comfortable at, but when I got hot a few nights and tried to turn it cooler, it didn't seem to cool the room anymore. It almost seemed like that it was an on or off thing and if we turned the A/C on, then it cooled the rooms to about 69 regardless of what we set the temp to. Who knows? We'll definitely call next time though!

At least I now know that they should work independently.
