There is now only one pool (the Garden Pool), correct? It's a little confusing as there are still photos of the Main Pool on the Howard Johnson's Anaheim Plaza website.

You are absolutely right! Our Garden Pool is now the only pool on our property, and we actually had a meeting last week to revamp all the content on the HoJo Corporate Site, and will be adding/removing pictures so that they accurately reflect exactly what we have to offer to our guests here in Anaheim!

I just got back from Hojo's and can tell you that DD loved the Pirate splash area! She played on the ship, near the turtle and in the baby pool. Myself, I enjoyed sitting in the very warm baby pool, soakin in the hot, hot, hot tub, and going down the small red slide on the pirate ship. Great splash at the end!

The water on the pirate ship is cool, but not too cold. The chairs out there are nice and comfy. And having a shower and restroom right there is great.

My only complaint: the hot tub was closed at night! The desk told me they had to close it becuase some &%*^~! kids were playing on it after it was closed and got hurt. So, due to one family not being able to follow the rules, the rest of us have to suffer.

So, my question is... has management found a solution that will enable the hot tub to remain open after the pirate ship closes at dusk?

I just heard about this too, on LP! I didn't try to use the hot tub last week so I didn't know. Are you working on a solution to this? I hope it can be resolved!

This has me very worried, the hot tub open 'till midnight was one of the final deciding factors for me, some therapy when we got done at the park.

I agree totally. The adults must have their hot tub time and should not have to suffer at the expense of Castaway Cove. Surely a solution can be found to allow the hot tub to remain open until midnight. If not, we may have to find another hotel.

I am sitting here in my Hojo room right now very dissapointed that I can't go in the hot tub. This is our first night here and normally about this time I would be sitting in the hot tub with a refreshing beverage getting to know other guests at the hotel and soaking my tired and sore feet

Is this a permanant closure ?? ( I wonder if anyone would notice if I hop the fence and quietly soak my feet...lol ....just kidding)

Has anyone called and talked to managment lately? Maybe we all need to write a letter.

I agree that some of my best past memories of Hojo's was sitting in the hot tub at night chatting with strangers. Closing the hot tub is not an acceptable solution. I had a bad feeling about the pirate ship closing at dusk.

We are at Hojo's right now. Just went to the hot tub to find out it was closed. (Should have checked the boards first) Now we have three disappointed kids and two very disappointed adults. This is our first stay here and that was a big part of our decision. I think if I would have paid more attention and found this out sooner, we would have switched back to the Disneyland Hotel.

Lorealle, can you fill us in on what's going on with the hot tub situation? This is a critital factor in the decision to stay at HoJo's for many of us. Personally, I would like to know if the hot tub will be open after dusk before I arrive so that I can make other hotel arrangements if necessary. Thanks.
