Castaway Cove Open Now!

I'm glad to hear management understands how important the hot tub is! I hope the barricades provide a workable solution but I'm honestly having a hard time picturing how they will barricade off that huge ship!

I think the best solution is to put some money in next year's rennovation plan for a second hot tub over by the other pool.

I just took a look at all of the very nice photos that are posted of Castaway Cove, and they look very inviting, and like a lot fun, as well.
I especially love the huge skelly pirate skull with his really cute parrot sidekick above him,how much fun is that?................. A LOT!

Hey Everybody!

There probably won't be any pictures of the barricades until later this week! We're actually having a big photo shoot of our brand new mini-waterpark this week, and so Willie and I have been frantically working on getting all of the details for that pulled together. Also, since Castaway Cove doesn't close until later in the evening, I have to schedule time to be on property beyond the time I'm usually here so that we can get pictures up! :]

But I'm so glad that everyone is excited about it- and I promise that I will get pictures up and running as soon as I can!

I also have some other news regarding the Cove- we are extending the hours!

The Pirate Ship [including the slides, drench bucket, water cannons, umbrella trees and cargo net climb] will now be open from 9a-9p, with the rest of the Cove remaining open until midnight. [Because of the extended hours, there will be two thirty minute periods during the day where the Ship is closed while the Castaway Attendants take a meal break- but the rest of the Cove will remain open during that time.] The new hours will be effective August 27th, 2008.

Very happy about the new hours!
