possibility of rooms with view of fireworks

HI all, we are travelling to the usa from melbourne australia in 2 wks time arriving on June 3, we are hoping to have a premium room in building 1. we have been told the fourth floor premium rooms with balconies offer a good view of the fireworks. As it will be myself and the grandparents, together with a 4yo and an 8yo, we hope we can keep them awake to view the fireworks from our room.

Are there many rooms in this category?
what is the likelihood of getting one?
Are there other premium rooms on other floors which offer a similar view?
Should we ask reception for a premium room on the fourth floor if it is at all possible or is this being too forthright? Not sure what our travel agent said when she booked the room some months ago.
We r so excited, I think the children are more excited about castaway cove than the plane trip, how to keep them occupied for 18 hours is not going to be easy. can't wait. c u soon aussie Mum

Hello Bella! Great to hear you're coming to see us!

There are approximately 40 Premium Disney facing rooms. They are on the 3rd through 7th floors and all offer similar views toward the Matterhorn at Disneyland. These rooms must be booked directly or if you've booked a package, you must confirm an upgrade directly with us and pay a daily fee.

If you've booked a package coming in from AUS, you will most likely be placed in a Standard category room that will accommodate the number in your family. In order to guarantee a higher room category (like our Deluxe or Premium room categories or one of our various suites), you need to touch base with our reservations team. They can look to see if any upgrade rooms are open for your dates and they can tell you what the daily upgrade fee will be based on what you choose. Bear in mind the hotel is running very, very full so some of these popular room types may already be sold to other families. If a higher room category is available and you select it, they will collect your credit card details to hold the space for you. The upgrade fee is payable at the end of your stay and the charges are placed on your incidental account (where all side charges are placed, like tickets, tours, etc.).

To reach our in-house reservations team, email your surname, confirmation info and your request to stay@hojoanaheim.com. You can also ring them at +1 714 776-6120 but that may not be convenient from Oz. For those of you inside the country our toll free is 800-422-4228. Make sure to ask for "in-house" reservations as the "Central" reservations folks will not be able to fulfill your request.
