Recieving no emails

Just wondering if you happen to know when the next email is going to be sent out? Our family stays at the hojo twice a year once in May and the other October as the old Entertainment rate (50% off) was normally available in those months. We are coming in May but unfortunately are assuming there will be no SUPER family rates in October as the dates over the past few months have been non existent. Sadly we are making reservations at another hotel. Please release more dates so we can return to the Hojo our "home away from home".

GREAT question and thank you for your post! We're sure others may be wondering the same thing.

Disney has spent an unparalleled amount of marketing dollars on announcing CARS LAND and all the new enhancements at DISNEYLAND to the world. It began about 18 months back and will continue for another year plus. This is an historic spend like we've never seen in our 48 years of being open. We'll have almost three full years of Cars Land related television, print and radio advertisements all across the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other areas which feed the Disneyland Resort. The result is HUGE demand and increased crowds like we've never seen. Our old "low" seasons simply do not exist like they did in previous years.

The Entertainment Card and other deep discount programs are designed specifically to assist businesses connect with consumers during very low periods so that there is a win-win for BOTH parties. Anaheim hotels suffered through almost a decade of near bankruptcy after 9/11 offering rates to the public that barely kept the doors open and their staff with jobs. This meant years of postponed renovations, staff pay-cuts, layoffs and more painful realities. Rates are only now back up to where they should be with regards to what our market offers, and hotels are now starting to creep out of the hole. Those of us that are within walking distance of the front gates, have unique facilities (like our Castaway Cove water playground), outstanding reviews, interior corridors, free parking & WiFi, etc., tend to fill up quickly and sometimes six to eight months in advance.

We absolutely understand your need to move your business to another hotel which better suits your needs and budget. We are THRILLED to know that you were able to take advantage of great low rates and enjoyed some wonderful memories at our family-owned and operated hotel, and for that we will always be grateful.

We will continue to send out SUPER FAMILY alerts whenever we are able, but there will be fewer dates opening and most will likely be last-minute or within a month of the dates. Hopefully we will have you back with us at some point in the future. No matter where you stay, our wish is that all who visit Anaheim have a fantastic time enjoying the magic of Disney!
