Many of you have questions regarding how to upgrade from one room type to another. Here's a quick guide to assist. This will only effect those of you who have purchased through a third-party, or bought a package tour including other items such as airfare, transfers, Disney tickets, etc. These packages, available from various tour operators and travel agents, will always include a room in our Standard room category with two Double beds.
Upgrades to the Standard room category with two Queen beds and microwave is currently $10 + tax per night additional
Upgrades to the Deluxe room category is currently $15 + tax per night additional
Upgrades to the Premium Disney Facing room category is currently $25 + tax per night additional
Upgrades to a Kids Suite is currently $75 + tax per night additional (14 of these suites exist)
Upgrades to either the King Suite or the Queen Suite is $100 + tax per night additional (only one of each of these suites exist)

In order to upgrade, you first need to have an existing booking in our hotel system. From there simply contact our In-House Reservations team via phone or email to make the upgrade request and to confirm the upgrade should space be available. Your credit card is required to make the change, although nothing will be charged or "held" until you arrive to the hotel. Bear in mind that if you call us, you may be diverted to the central reservations department for the entire brand of Howard Johnson. These agents will not be able to assist. Make sure to ask for the In-House Reservations team who are physically in Anaheim. Our team is available during usual business hours Monday through Saturday.
