Ticket upgrade questions

Hey I just had a quick question, I am going to visit home in December (a.k.a. Disneyland). I will be using the Citypass that includes a 3 day hopper, I want to upgrade it to a 4 day hopper. How do I do the upgrade? What is the price difference? What is the value in trade of my 3 day hopper? Disney will not give me a straight answer. I am going with a large group and they will only upgrade if it is a non substancial amount to change tickets.

I didn't actually know the answer to this question, so I asked our Front Desk Manager!

'They have to upgrade at the park before the end of their last day. I called Disney and they also gave me the run around because they don’t know how to pro-rate the 3-Day hopper since it comes as a package. One of the attendants told me when they get their actual tickets, the price will be printed on there. I asked 3 different people and none of them could give me an answer. Worst case scenario is they would have to pay the price of a one day ticket which is $69.00 for 1 park or $94.00 for park hopper.'
