the Block at Orange?

Postby mimmy42 » Fri Mar 21, 2008 5:28 pm

:D I've heard about the Block at Orange. Firstly is it a good place for shopping and dining? And if it is, is it easy to get to with a taxi etc. Also, what time are shops like target open to on a Saturday evening. Thanks! Kendra

The Block of Orange is a nice, large "shoppertainment" mall

You can take a taxi, about $10 to $15 plus tip each way.

Or you can take the ART Shuttle from HoJo's, it is $3 per day per person, and you can buy the passes at the Front Desk.

It does require a "transfer", you take the ART from in front of HoJo's (Route 7) to the Disneyland Tram area, and then get on Route 16 to get to the Block. (Note:, Route 16 only runs once per hour, leaving the DLR Tram area at half past the hour.)

The same ART route also stops at Target, which is located at Harbor and Chapman. I think the typical Target hours are 8 AM to 11 PM 7 days a week.

But I prefer the Target that is North of HoJo's at Harbor and Orangethorpe, as there is a lot more shops and restaurants at this location.

You can check this thread out for more info.

If you are interested in these shops, a typical set of hours is 9 to 9 PM, maybe closing an hour earlier on the weekend.
